Beacon of Hope Class Schedule

Here is the upcoming schedule for the Beacon of Hope Class:

• January 31 — panel discussion with Tab members who attended the 2009 Christian Community Development Association conference
• February 7 – - congregational meeting (no class)
• February 14 – CLASS VISIT TO PHILLIPS TEMPLE  (10am service)  Followed by Sacred Conversation  
• February21  – Sacred Conversation / Phillips Temple Process Time
• February 28 — Infant Mortality (led by Teri Conard)

Ron Somerville @ Beacon of Hope Sunday

This Sunday (November 20), Ron Somerville will be visiting the Beacon of Hope Sunday School class to discuss race and religion.  The class will be in the chapel, because the dining room will be setup for the Thank Offering Dinner.

 

The Rev. Ron Somerville, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of History of Global Christianity at Christian Theological Seminary.  He is a member of Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church and a leader in the Sacred Conversations taking place between Tab and Philips Temple, and across the city.
